Welcome to Write For Money Online
Hello, and welcome to Write for Money Online. My name is Michael, and I’ve been a successful freelance writer for over three years now. During that time I’ve had dozens of people; both online and in ‘real life,’ ask me how they can make money writing too. Rather than trying to walk each person through individually, I finally decided to create this site so I could help everyone, all in one place.
My hope is that this site will be a great resource for anyone who is interested in learning how to make money writing online. I will be covering as many different ways to make money as a writer online as I can come up with. Those that I’ve personally used, I’ll write a detailed review of what I think of that particular money making method. In addition, I’ll write guides on as many different methods of earning money as a writer as possible.
Perhaps most importantly, I will be here to help answer any questions you might have, provide some guidance and just generally help you to get started (or take the next step) with making money as a writer.
There is potential for people at virtually every skill-level to make money online as a writer. The fact is, there is more demand for writers today than ever before. Google and the other search engines keep stressing the importance of high-quality content on your sites, which means websites of all types need that great content. You can also make money by writing content for your own blog (I’ll teach you how) or even writing books and selling them through the Kindle marketplace (I’ll teach you this too!).
People who might not speak English as their first language, for example, can be hired by people who need content just for link building. Higher-quality writers, on the other hand, will more often be hired to write content directly for websites, newsletters, press releases and much more. Of course, the better the writer you are, the more you should get paid.
In addition, if you have any specialty knowledge in a particular area, you can charge a premium for the content you write. Some areas which are often in particular demand include the following:
- Medical Writers
- Legal Writers
- Technical Writers
- Travel Writers
Of course, there are many others as well. If you can write in any of these niches, the chances are you’ll be able to bring in quite a bit of money for each job. But how much is ‘quite a bit’ and how much money can the average person make as a writer. The answer will depend largely on how hard you are willing to work, how many hours per day you are willing to put into it, and how good of a writer you really are.
Just to keep it simple, however, for a good native English writer, you can make anywhere from $5 (this is VERY low)for a 500 word article, and up to about $60 (or even more), depending on things like the niche, turnaround time and other factors. Specialty articles in the areas listed above can make significantly more than that per article. How fast you can type and how quickly you can finish an article will also determine how much you’ll make. When done properly, you’ll be able to make a good ‘full time’ income, as long as you are willing to work at it.
On this site you’ll learn where to find those jobs, how to get them, how much to charge, and much more. If you’ve ever dreamt of making a living as a writer, right from the comfort of your own home, please, grab a coffee and read through this site. I’m confident you’ll find something that will be helpful. If you have any questions, just shoot me an email at Michael@writeformoneyonline.com , or comment directly on one of my posts.
Finally, if you want to keep up to date with all that’s going on with this site, as well as receive some extremely valuable information from time to time, please consider signing up for my email group below. I’ll be sending out a few emails per week to help you reach your writing goals. In addition, I’m working on a detailed report on how to get started as a freelance writer, which I’ll be sending out exclusively to people in my email group as soon as it is done! Free of charge!
I look forward to working with you soon.
