Coffee: The Key to Success for Freelancers

Let me start off by saying that while this may not technically have anything directly to do with making money online as a writer, it is certainly an important topic.  I am a firm believer that it is nearly impossible to become a successful writer without the help of a nice cup of coffee.  As those who know me can attest, I love my coffee, and if I’m at my computer writing, you can bet I have a cup of it sitting next to me.   Steaming hot and black as night.

While I drink a wide variety of different types of coffee, I can honestly say that the absolute best coffee I have ever had is from Mystic Monk Coffee.  It is roasted by the Carmelite Monks of Wyoming.  Yes, that’s right.  These are actual cloistered Roman Catholic Monks who spend their day praying and roasting coffee!  I can only imagine that when you dedicate your life to something you end up getting pretty darn good at it, and that is clearly the case with these monks.

When I heard about them on the radio I knew I had to give them a try.  I ordered their medium roast “Mystic Monk Blend” K-Cups (for use in my Keurig Coffee maker, which I also absolutely love).   They have regular ground or whole bean coffees as well.  The coffee arrived a couple days later, and to my delight it was absolutely amazing.  The coffee comes with a ‘warning’ that they put 20% more coffee in each k-cup, which makes it stronger, and they weren’t kidding. The strong flavor was truly heavenly!
They also offer several other roasts, and even flavored coffee options.  Apparently they have tea as well, but that really isn’t… my cup of tea (sorry for the pun).  I’m looking forward to trying all the different flavors of coffee they offer as soon as possible. When I heard that they had an affiliate program, I knew I had to sign up.   So yes, if you buy coffee after clicking on the Mystic Monk logo on my site, I’ll earn a little bit of money.  Is this the reason I’m recommending their coffee?  Absolutely not!  I truly love their coffee, and if you’re a coffee drinker, I think you’ll love it too!

If you have the pleasure of trying this great coffee, please stop back here and let me know what you think!  While you’re here, let me know where you get your favorite coffee, I’m always looking to try something new!

Monk coffee? Well now, that’s a different approach to affiliate marketing, isn’t it?

I can attest to the NEED for coffee while one writes to their heart’s content.

I wouldn’t start my day without a cup and somehow the online writing never gets done without a sip in between the paragraphs!

All hail to the almighty coffee drinker and yay for the Monks who make it a heavenly experience! 🙂
