Keys to Writing Keywords for eHow
When I started at eHow, I was unclear how to write Keywords. I enlisted the help of an eHow editor and wrote an eHow on “How to Write Keywords for eHow”, with her approval. Here is a more detailed explaination.
Let’s start with what keywords are. Keywords are words that relate to the information you are sharing. It is basically a “shortcut” to describe what you are talking about.
At the bottom of each eHow, writers are asked to add keywords. It is key to writing keywords for eHow to understand that these keywords are used by eHow only. These keywords are to help others search for and find your article on eHow. So the keywords you use for your eHow articles will most logically be the words in the title of your eHow article.
Writing the keywords is very simple. You write each keyword and leave a space. No quote marks, commas etc. For example in my eHow “How to Find Missing Money”, the keywords are written like this:
Right way: Find Missing Money
Wrong way: ”Find Missing Money” FindMissingMoney
Find, Missing, Money
At eHow they suggest you limit yourself to 5 keywords but you can add more if you desire. You also do not have to worry about using lower or upper case letters as it is not case sensitive.
Writing articles keyworded for the Search Engines is different than writing keywords for ehow.
